Neutrality is a bitch

From doing the unstamped magazine, I soon realised that trying to make something absolutely neutral is a bitch and almost impossible. In this day and age everything has such a strong meaning and linked mentally by so many things. From the beginning of the project I wanted to make the magazine 100%. I tried so many approaches but it was such a struggle. To be honest I still don't believe that it's totally neutral but it's the best I could possibly do. So the big question: Is there such thing as neutral anymore. I used helvetica as it has such a range of uses and you see it's nearly everywhere that this causes a reverse as this makes it more neutral than other typefaces. It's seen so much that it's becoming invisible, but does that make it neutral? What exactly is neutral and how is it achieved
